The Grow Yoga Practice &
Teacher Training
Cultivate a practice. Develop your voice. Lead yourself well.
A Yoga Alliance Certified 200-HR Program
August 2026 - April 2027
Most people think yoga teacher training is for people who want to teach.
We believe it's for people who want more from their practice.
Many students join this training because they want to teach.
Others join because they want to deepen their practice, strengthen their leadership, and experience yoga beyond the physical postures.
Both belong here.
8 immersive weekends, intentionally spaced over eight months to deepen learning and truly set our students apart as leaders.
By application only · Limited cohort size.

Program Structure
The Grow Yoga Practice & Teacher Training is a 200-hour, in-person experience designed for students who are ready to deepen their practice, grow as leaders, and explore what becomes possible through consistent commitment.
This is not a weekend certification or a program to rush through. Learning happens over time through practice, study, reflection, conversation, and real experience. You'll be challenged, supported, and encouraged to engage fully with both the material and the community around you.
Throughout the training, you'll receive direct coaching and meaningful feedback as you develop the skills to teach *Power Yoga and strengthen your own practice.
*While Power Yoga is at the heart of this training, the tools and principles you will lear can be applied to teaching any type of yoga.
The Training Includes
• Eight immersive weekends of in-person learning
• Guided independent study and collaborative group work
• Hands-on coaching with individualized feedback
• Study of Power Yoga methodology, anatomy, and philosophy
• Meditation, journaling, and personal inquiry
• Practice teaching in a supportive learning environment
• Leadership development through service, responsibility, and consistent practice
Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to register as 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance.
More importantly, you'll leave with a stronger practice, a deeper understanding of yourself, and the confidence to lead from a place of authenticity, whether that's at the front of a yoga room or in your everyday life.

Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is designed to balance independent study, collaborative learning, and in-person practice so that what you learn becomes part of how you live and lead.
Between training weekends, you'll continue your learning through reading, writing, meditation, journaling, physical practice, and practice teaching. Rather than trying to absorb everything at once, you'll build your understanding gradually through consistent engagement with the material.
Throughout the training, you'll also work closely with fellow trainees in learning teams. These groups are intentionally created and reshaped over time to strengthen communication, collaboration, and leadership while allowing you to learn from different perspectives.
Required reading includes a thoughtful selection of books that deepen your understanding of yoga, leadership, and personal growth. A complete reading list will be provided before the training begins.
The result is a learning experience that doesn't end when the weekend is over. It continues in your practice, your conversations, your relationships, and the way you move through everyday life.

Why This Training Exists
Years ago, I said yes to a teacher training because I wanted to understand my practice more deeply.
I wasn't planning to open a yoga studio.
I certainly wasn't planning to build Grow Yoga.
But that experience changed the direction of my life.
If you've ever wondered why oranges have become such a meaningful symbol around our studio, I'd love to share that story.
